Description
Sandra serves as a major antagonist in the Jumi story arc, renowned as a notorious jewel hunter who systematically targets her own race. She steals Jumi cores embedded in their chests, forewarning victims through cryptic notes left at crime scenes. To evade enemies like Inspector Boyd, she adopts the male alias "Alex," operating a jewelry shop in Geo while employing elaborate disguises—such as posing as a nun in Gato Grottoes to hunt Rubens or impersonating the ghost Thona in Drowned Dreams for a blue core.

Her background reveals she is a Jumi with an alexandrite core, a gem shifting colors under light, potentially enabling transformations between her female identity (Sandra) and male persona (Alex), though adaptation specifics vary. After Lady Blackpearl leaves the Bejeweled City, Sandra becomes Knight to Florina, the Jumi Clarius producing life-sustaining tears. Witnessing Florina overworked to near-death during Jumi conflicts ignites Sandra’s conviction that the race exploits its Clarius. This loyalty drives her to seclude Florina and launch a vengeful crusade against the Jumi, believing their eradication essential for Florina’s protection.

Her actions critically damage Blackpearl’s core, transforming her into Pearl, and orchestrate the deaths of Jumi including Rubens, Esmeralda, and Diana. During the Teardrop Crystal events, Sandra’s dual identity unravels. She confesses feeding stolen cores to the malevolent Lord of Jewels before sacrificing her own alexandrite core to weaken the entity, seemingly disintegrating. A later letter in the Bejeweled City confirms her survival, though she exiles herself for crimes against her race, entrusting Florina’s safety to the protagonist and Blackpearl.

Physically, Sandra has long grayish-pink hair and teal-blue eyes, styled in ox-horn buns with orange flowers and green leaves. She wears a green sleeveless cheongsam with gold embroidery and lilac knee-high boots. As Alex, she sports light red-orange hair in a bun, purple-and-blue tunics, and glasses. Her personality merges ruthless cunning with unwavering devotion to Florina, casting her as a tragic figure whose extreme methods arise from a warped sense of justice.
