Description
Udo trained as an Eldian Warrior candidate for the Marleyan military, competing to inherit the Armored Titan. He originated from an Eldian internment zone outside Marley, where his family endured uniquely severe discrimination. This background granted him familiarity with foreign languages, useful during military operations.

Standing 146 centimeters tall and weighing 39 kilograms made him the tallest among his fellow candidates. He possessed shaggy black hair, dark eyes, and distinctive oval-shaped goggles. His uniform was the standard Marleyan military attire modified for Eldians, featuring an Eldian star badge on his collar, a white-striped hard hat bearing the star emblem, and the mandatory Eldian armband.

Udo exhibited a volatile and insecure personality, often reacting impulsively under stress. During the Marley Mid-East War, he assisted in treating wounded comrades like Falco Grice but panicked, wrapping bandages too tightly until corrected by Gabi Braun. Despite this instability, he demonstrated competence by translating a wounded Mid-East Allied Forces soldier's words and surviving four years of warfare. He frequently voiced frustration about global anti-Eldian prejudice, especially fearing its intensification after the Battle of Fort Slava.

His relationships included camaraderie with Falco, whom he treated on the battlefield, and occasional clashes with Gabi over medical methods. He maintained a complex dynamic with Zofia, who viewed his anxious tendencies with mild amusement. At Willy Tybur's festival in Liberio, Udo served ambassadors and accidentally spilled wine on Kiyomi Azumabito of Hizuru. Her unexpected kindness despite knowing his Eldian identity left him visibly shocked.

Udo attended Willy Tybur's speech with the other Warrior candidates, learning about Karl Fritz's role in ending the Great Titan War. During Eren Yeager's surprise transformation, debris crushed Zofia. While attempting to free her, Udo was trampled by the fleeing crowd, sustaining fatal injuries including a split skull and broken neck. Colt Grice and Gabi transported his body to a hospital, where medical staff declared him deceased and refused treatment due to overcrowding. His corpse was placed outside on a sheet.
