Description
Lee Shaw, whose full name is Leland Lafayette Shaw III, is a military officer who becomes a central figure in the early history of the secret organization Monarch. He first enters this world in 1952, when he is assigned to escort the scientist Keiko Miura on an expedition in the Philippines. Initially skeptical and expecting a male scientist, he quickly learns to respect Keiko’s competence, and together with the cryptozoologist William Randa, the three form a close partnership that lays the groundwork for Monarch’s mission to study and monitor giant creatures known as Titans. Shaw is driven by a strong sense of honor and a desire to do what he believes is right, often acting out of loyalty and compassion toward those he considers family. Although he possesses a cynical sense of humor, he is deeply protective and willing to sacrifice himself for others. His love for Keiko becomes a central motivation, influencing many of his decisions even decades later.
