Description
Mr. 11 is a Frontier Agent for the criminal organization Baroque Works, appearing as a minor antagonist in the live-action series One Piece: Into the Grand Line. His real name is never revealed, and he operates under the code name Mr. 11 in partnership with Miss Thursday. In this adaptation, Mr. 11 and his partner are sent by the organization’s leader, Mr. 0, to the Marine communications outpost on Renaisse Island. Their mission is to destroy the base, kill all personnel, and eliminate any recorded evidence of Baroque Works’ activities, particularly the Transponder Snails used to intercept communications. Mr. 11 is depicted as a trained assassin capable of carrying out such a ruthless assignment.
Personality-wise, Mr. 11 is shown to be loyal to his organization and committed to following orders without question. However, he is also somewhat naive and easily deceived. During his confrontation with Captain Smoker, he attempts to deny any connection to Baroque Works, but Smoker tricks him into inadvertently revealing information. In the original source material, Mr. 11 is described as having a poor poker face and being easily fooled, traits that carry over into his live-action portrayal. His motivation stems from his role within Baroque Works: he is a low-ranking but nevertheless deadly operative who carries out missions to further the organization’s goal of destabilizing the Kingdom of Arabasta.
Mr. 11’s role in the story is brief but consequential. He and Miss Thursday successfully destroy the Renaisse base, but they are discovered by Smoker and Tashigi before they can finish erasing all evidence. In the ensuing fight, Smoker kills Miss Thursday, while Tashigi captures Mr. 11. Smoker attempts to interrogate him, but Mr. 11 refuses to cooperate. Frustrated by the agent’s stubbornness and driven by his own ambition to pursue bigger targets, Smoker kills Mr. 11 by suffocation. The agent’s death, along with a surviving Transponder Snail that contains a recording of a conversation between Sanji and Mr. 0, leads Smoker to mistakenly believe that the Straw Hat Pirates are allied with Baroque Works, setting up a major plot thread for the following season.
Mr. 11 has no significant character development; he appears only in a single episode and is killed shortly thereafter. His key relationships include his partner Miss Thursday, with whom he works as a pair, and his superior Mr. 0, whom he serves without question. His primary adversary is Captain Smoker, who defeats and kills him. In terms of abilities, Mr. 11 is not shown engaging in direct combat in the live-action series, but as a Frontier Agent he is implied to be proficient in stealth, assassination, and possibly swordsmanship. In the original manga and anime, he possessed a named sword called Kashu, which he lost in a duel with Tashigi, but this detail does not appear in the live-action adaptation. Overall, Mr. 11 serves as a disposable agent whose actions and demise help advance the overarching narrative toward the Arabasta arc.
