Description
The Cattleprod Bounty Hunter is a minor antagonist appearing in the Knuckles television series. A man of considerable stature, he is tall and built with a ponytail and brown eyes, often wearing a leather jacket over a simple t-shirt. As his name suggests, he operates as a bounty hunter, taking on contracts to capture fugitives for financial reward. His approach to his work is characterized by a pragmatic and opportunistic nature, as he prefers to pursue targets he considers easy and low-risk.

In the series, his primary motivation is the bounty placed on the head of Wade Whipple. Scouring wanted posters in his lair for new targets, he identifies Wade and dismisses him as a simple and uncomplicated capture. Displaying a leadership or organizational role among his peers, he contacts his associates to join him in what he believes will be an effortless hunt. This decision leads the group of bounty hunters directly to the Whipple family residence.

Upon arriving at the house, the Cattleprod Bounty Hunter takes direct action by ambushing Wade in his bedroom. He physically overpowers Wade, pinning him to the ground and threatening to turn him in for the reward. This scene demonstrates his confidence and his method of using intimidation and direct physical force. However, his understanding of the situation is incomplete, as he is unaware of Wade's connection to Knuckles the Echidna. Wade warns his attacker that he has made a grave error by confronting the favorite student of the galaxy's most dangerous warrior, at which point Knuckles appears and immediately attacks the bounty hunter, throwing him out of the house and creating a large hole in the wall.

The character does not have significant individual development throughout the episode, serving primarily as an obstacle to be overcome by the protagonists. His key relationship is with his fellow hunters, whom he summons to assist in the capture, and with Wade Whipple, whom he views as nothing more than an easy payday. His most notable relationship in terms of conflict is with Knuckles, whose strength he severely underestimates. In terms of abilities, the Cattleprod Bounty Hunter is shown to be physically strong and capable of subduing an average person like Wade with ease, but he is no match for the superior combat skills and power of an Echidna warrior.
