Description
The character often identified as the Old Man in the anime is an older future version of Scott Pilgrim, known within the story as Old Scott, Older Scott, and at a later stage Even Older Scott. He is a version of the protagonist from roughly fourteen years in the future, meaning that the events of the original story, including his marriage to Ramona Flowers, have already taken place in his personal history. That marriage ultimately ended in divorce, an outcome that left him embittered, lonely, and emotionally adrift.
In his own time, Old Scott performs in a mediocre band called Pop'n Twinbee alongside Kyle and Ken Katayanagi and lives temporarily in the home of his old friend Wallace Wells.
