Morodashi, often called Moro, is a supporting character from the anime and manga series xxxHOLiC. Her full name, Morodashi, along with that of her companion Marudashi, translates to "completely exposed," a pun that ties into the series' title. She is a young girl with short, straight pink hair and pink eyes, and she dresses in angelic-style clothing that changes with the seasons.

Morodashi is one of two soulless bodies that reside and work within the shop of the witch Yūko Ichihara. She and Maru are inseparable companions who almost always speak in unison, finish each other's sentences, and repeat themselves. Their speech patterns and synchronized behavior give them a childlike, playful, and slightly eerie quality. They are energetic, mischievous, and often tease Kimihiro Watanuki, distracting him from his duties and pulling him into Yūko's schemes. Despite this, they are genuinely caring and show deep concern for both Yūko and Watanuki. For example, when Watanuki returns home in distress, Moro and Maru immediately sense something is wrong and drag him as far as the shop's gates to deliver him to help, acknowledging they cannot go further themselves.

Morodashi and Maru's primary role in the story is to act as the shop's attendants and cheer squad. They greet visitors and assist Yūko, but their most crucial function is spiritual: their concentration maintains the existence of the shop itself. The shop is invisible to those not fated to deal with Yūko, and Moro and Maru's focus keeps it manifest. This responsibility causes them to fall into long, deep sleeps as a side effect. They are bound to the shop because they lack souls; if they were to leave, their bodies would disintegrate.

Morodashi's motivations stem from her deep attachment to Yūko. She and Maru are fiercely loyal to her, and their existence is tied directly to her power. When Yūko dies, Moro and Maru briefly vanish, but Yūko uses the last of her power to bring them back, transferring their loyalty to Watanuki. After Yūko's death and Watanuki's inheritance of the shop, they continue to serve him faithfully, though they remain the same playful troublemakers they always were. Over time, Watanuki develops a fondness for them, even if he is often exasperated by their antics.

Morodashi has no known supernatural abilities of her own, as she has no soul. Her notable quality is her role in sustaining the shop's reality through her concentration, which is a passive yet vital power. She and Maru also possess a keen sensitivity to the emotional states of those around them, as seen when they immediately notice Watanuki's distress. Their existence is entirely bound to the shop and its master, making them unique beings who embody both the whimsy and the underlying melancholy of the series.
