Description
Lichtendahl Tsery, often called Lichty by his comrades, is a young man with short brown hair and brown eyes who serves as a member of the paramilitary organization Celestial Being. He is introduced as a friendly and good-natured individual, known for his cheerful personality and a tendency to smile even in tense situations. This lighthearted demeanor sometimes makes him appear lacking in seriousness, but it also helps maintain morale among the crew. He was raised with a sense of loss, having lost his parents in a solar war, a tragedy that likely motivated his decision to join Celestial Being's cause of eradicating armed conflict.

Within Celestial Being, Lichtendahl serves as the helmsman of the mother ship Ptolemy, piloting various support machines and handling navigation during missions. His role is primarily that of a support crew member rather than a frontline Gundam Meister, but his training as a pilot for support vehicles makes him a capable operator. He works closely with the bridge crew, including Sumeragi Lee Noriega, and the Gundam pilots, particularly Lockon Stratos, who shares a similarly easygoing attitude.

Lichtendahl's development is marked by his unwavering loyalty to the organization and his willingness to face danger alongside his teammates. Despite his jovial nature, he demonstrates courage and dedication when the Ptolemy comes under attack. His story ends tragically: during the decisive battle against the combined United Nations forces near Lagrange 1, he is killed in action. His death underscores the high cost of Celestial Being's mission and adds emotional weight to the conflict. In terms of abilities, he is a skilled helmsman and support vehicle pilot, though he does not pilot a Gundam. His primary strength lies in his ability to keep the crew calm and focused through his cheerful presence, even as the war intensifies.
