Description
Christina Sierra is a character from the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 franchise, specifically appearing as a crew member of the celestial-being-operated ship CBS-70 Ptolemaios. Within the narrative, she serves as a tactical communicator, or CIC operations officer, and a talented computer programmer and hacker.

Standing at 160 centimeters tall with O-type blood, Christina was born on March 29, 2285, making her 22 years old at the time of her death in 2308. Her personality is defined by a straightforward and honest nature, as she typically expresses her feelings to others without hesitation. She has a genuine interest in fashion and exploration, often trying to involve her friends, particularly her younger colleague Feldt Grace, in activities like shopping. Despite this outgoing demeanor, Christina is an idealist who believes in the possibility of changing the world, yet she harbors a reluctance to discuss her own past due to difficult personal experiences.

Her background reveals a troubled upbringing. She lived with a foster mother in an L1 space colony but left home after a conflict, having few positive memories of that time. To support herself, she utilized her skills as a hacker, a profession that eventually led to her recruitment by the paramilitary organization Celestial Being after being approved by their supercomputer, Veda. Her abilities in this field are considerable; she is capable of infiltrating highly secure government servers and extracting sensitive data without detection. This programming expertise proves critical during the organization's operations, most notably when she created a standalone operating system for the Gundam Meisters after Veda itself was compromised by an external attack.

In her role aboard the Ptolemaios, Christina is responsible for maintaining the ship's daily operations and managing tactical communications with the Gundam pilots during missions. Her relationships with the crew form a significant part of her character. She shares a sisterly bond with the younger Feldt Grace, frequently trying to draw her out of her shell. While she maintains professional relationships with most of the ship's crew, including the tactical forecaster Sumeragi Lee Noriega and gunner Lasse Aeon, her most notable dynamic is with the helmsman, Lichtendahl Tsery.

Initially, Christina dismisses Lichtendahl's obvious romantic interest in her, telling him he is not her type. She briefly develops a crush on Johann Trinity, a pilot from the rival Trinity team, even using a picture of them together as a screensaver until the two factions become enemies. However, her feelings evolve during the United Nations Forces' Operation Fallen Angels. When the Ptolemaios is critically damaged in battle, Lichtendahl shields her from a direct blast, sacrificing himself. In that moment, Christina realizes she was blind not to appreciate him and admits her returned feelings, but it is too late. She has suffered a fatal wound from a large piece of shrapnel that pierced her back. As the bridge explodes, she and Lichtendahl die together, after she conveys a final message to Feldt, urging her to help change the world.
