Ayako is an autistic student experiencing social isolation and consistent mockery from classmates. Yuri alone demonstrates kindness towards her. Deeply valuing this connection, Ayako expresses gratitude by giving Yuri a beaded bracelet. This gift later inspires a major school project. As the summer cultural festival approaches, Yuri conceives an idea for a large decorative artwork on an exterior school wall: a picture crafted from ropes threaded with colorful empty cans. Ayako participates alongside classmates in gathering cans across the city and actively contributes to creating the artwork. A typhoon strikes the area the day before the festival, threatening to destroy the completed artwork representing the students' collective effort, including Ayako's involvement.
