Description
Ryo Fujihashi, a 24-year-old office worker, has shared a lifelong friendship with Souma Mizuno. She perceives Souma as a womanizing playboy due to his flirtatious nature, prompting her attempts to matchmake him with her coworkers, oblivious to his genuine feelings for her. A fire that engulfs her apartment drastically alters her life; Souma, working as a firefighter, rescues her from the blaze. Left homeless, she moves temporarily into Souma's apartment, triggering a dramatic shift in their relationship.

Struggling to admit her romantic feelings for Souma, Ryo often masks her vulnerability behind a serious and thoughtful demeanor. Early in their cohabitation, intimate encounters evoke conflicted emotions; while internally receptive, she withholds explicit verbal consent, creating ambiguity. This hesitation stems from her fear of damaging their friendship and doubts about Souma's sincerity, influenced by his reputation. Over time, she realizes Souma's playboy persona was a misguided effort to capture her attention and gradually acknowledges her own mutual affection.

Her development involves navigating the complex transition from friendship to romance. She grows more assertive in confronting misunderstandings and emotional barriers between them, particularly concerning Souma's longstanding, unspoken love. Interactions with colleagues and friends reveal her protective and supportive nature, though her primary focus remains understanding and solidifying her bond with Souma. As the story unfolds, Ryo evolves from emotional caution to accepting and reciprocating Souma's feelings, fostering a more transparent and committed partnership.
