Description
Ryō Fujihashi is a 24-year-old office worker who shares a lifelong friendship with Souma Mizuno, a firefighter. Initially viewing Souma as a womanizer, she tries setting him up with female coworkers, convinced his flirtations prevent serious commitments. A fire destroying her apartment shifts this dynamic when Souma rescues her, leading her to accept his offer of temporary shelter while rebuilding her life.

Living together intensifies tension as physical boundaries erode. Ryō faces internal conflict over Souma's advances, exhibiting outward hesitance or reluctance despite inner enjoyment. Ambiguous consent arises in public or semi-public spaces, where her verbal resistance contrasts with implied attraction. Her core concern involves questioning Souma's motives and safeguarding their friendship, not rejecting romance outright. Shyness and insecurity initially stop her from confronting their mutual feelings.

She gradually recognizes Souma's longstanding romantic interest, prompting her to acknowledge her own reignited attraction—previously suppressed due to his reputation. This marks her transition from seeing Souma solely as a childhood friend to accepting both romantic and physical intimacy. Her evolution entails navigating trust issues stemming from his perceived playboy persona while reconciling it with his consistent focus on her.

Physically, Ryō has auburn hair, violet eyes, and stands 1.62 meters tall.
