Michitaka Nanba is a supporting character in the anime Opus.COLORs. He is the cousin of Jun Tsuzuki and has been a friend of Kazuya since Kazuya was taken in by the Tsuzuki family. Jun describes him as often appearing spaced out, but his mental state remains consistently flat and he possesses an unusually large capacity to remain undisturbed by any situation. This unflappable demeanor allows him to naturally gain trust from peers regardless of their major or grade level. He is well-connected and knowledgeable, making him a valuable source of information. Jun assigns him the task of gathering intelligence about Hibiki and the Grader major. Although he seems to be taken advantage of by Jun, Michitaka is actually a reliable and understanding supporter who quietly helps Jun navigate his concerns about the relationship between Kazuya and Hibiki. He has trained in martial arts alongside Jun since childhood and is quite skilled. He is also known to have a hearty appetite. His calm, observant nature, combined with his physical strength and wide network, make him a dependable presence among the cast.
