TV-Series
Description
Esyne is a supporting character in the series, known for being the young daughter of Enome, the guild receptionist. Despite her age, which is established to be eleven years old, she is frequently seen assisting with clerical duties at the guild. Physically, Esyne is described as tall for her age with a developed figure, chin-length blonde hair, blue eyes, and she wears a uniform similar to her mother's. A distinctive feature of her appearance is the set of three hairpins she wears on the side of her head, which are shaped like winking faces.

In terms of personality, Esyne comes across as clever and mischievous, often displaying a maturity that belies her youth. She is noted for making witty and surprisingly grown-up comments, particularly during awkward or embarrassing situations involving the adults around her. Underneath her playful and sometimes sly attitude, she is shown to be highly dependable and responsible, capable of taking over the receptionist duties at the guild when her mother is absent. While she acts much older than she is, she retains moments of innocent, cheerful behavior.

Esyne's primary motivation throughout the story revolves around her family situation and her disdain for her biological father, a man named Zenith, who abandoned her and her mother before her birth. She has never known him and harbors a deep hatred for him, to the point of stating that he is "dead to her". Because of this, she secretly wishes for her mother to divorce her absent father and marry the guild's top hunter, Kikuru Madan. This goal shapes many of her actions, as she actively and enthusiastically schemes to bring her mother and Kikuru together.

Her role in the story is defined by her key relationships. She shares a close and loving bond with her mother, Enome, whom she often helps both at home and with guild work. Her most prominent relationship is with Kikuru Madan, whom she affectionately and persistently calls "Papa". She loves Kikuru not only for his strength and reliability as a hunter but also because he is a constant presence in her life. Aware of the mutual attraction between Kikuru and her mother, she sees him as the ideal candidate to become her stepfather. Esyne also views the character Hanabata Nohkins as a potential obstacle to her plan, as she considers Hanabata the only one who could compete with her mother for Kikuru's affections due to her figure.

Throughout the series, Esyne shows significant development in her understanding of her family. While she consistently works to pair Kikuru and Enome, a direct confrontation with her biological father, Zenith, provides further insight. He reveals his plans and the reasons for her conception, making clear the importance she holds for him. Despite this encounter, Esyne remains resolute, showing him no filial respect and agreeing to his divorce from her mother without hesitation, encouraging her mother to find her own happiness instead. Her abilities are not combat-oriented but lie in her intelligence and practicality. She is a quick thinker and highly responsible, acting as a substitute guild clerk entrusted with real work, and she possesses a sharp social acumen that allows her to read and manipulate the adults around her with ease.
