Ezet is a young boy who is not originally from Earth, having crash-landed on the planet while on a mission to find Ninja Gum. He belongs to the Meluz species, and his true home planet has suffered through numerous wars, living in the aftermath of a recent conflict. His mission to obtain Ninja Gum was a last-ditch effort to free his world from a takeover by the Space Ninja. His physical appearance is distinct from humans, featuring fair skin, white hair that fades into a sky blue gradient, and pink eyes where the pupil is white rather than black, set in a shape with long, winged tips. He also has pointed ears, partially covered by his shoulder-length hair.

When first arriving on Earth, Ezet is notably paranoid and skittish, often running away from those who approach with good intentions. Despite this fear, he demonstrates a strong will, continuously pursuing his mission even after his spaceship is damaged. He can also be unusually confident and stubborn, believing his tendency to leap into battle alone is a matter of luck rather than the efforts of his allies working around him. Underneath his anxious exterior, he is a sweet and genuine individual. For instance, he did not hesitate to leap into a burning building to save its occupants alongside others. After revealing his origins and befriending the Earthlings, he becomes more relaxed around them, though he still experiences high anxiety and often imagines unrealistic worst-case scenarios during mundane situations. He is also studious and intelligent, having the knowledge to pilot a spaceship and taking an interest in reading about Oedo's history and culture to better understand the Shinobi world.

Ezet plays a key role as an alien visitor whose arrival brings a new conflict to the forefront. His presence introduces the larger threat of the Space Ninja to the characters on Earth. He is initially a figure of suspicion but eventually integrates with the main group, becoming a student at the WNA Academy. He forms a deep bond with Gumchi, the series mascot, relying on it in battle and often being seen smiling and playing with it, which contrasts sharply with his usual fearful demeanor toward others. He also develops a sense of trust with characters like Burton, who helps him and believes in him. Through these key relationships, Ezet evolves from a paranoid and isolated stranger into a more trusting, though still anxious, friend and ally.

Ezet’s notable abilities differ from traditional Shinobi Powers due to his Meluzian background. His primary power is a form of mind control, which activates when he speaks while maintaining direct eye contact with the target person. This power can be disrupted, such as if the person is wearing sunglasses, which weakens the effect and allows them to refuse to obey. Despite attending the WNA Academy, he is not a traditional ninja, and for unknown reasons, his body is not compatible with Ninja Gum.
