Description
Dezastol is the Demon Queen who rules over the Demon Tribe Nation known as Evilcion. She is a central figure in the political landscape of the world of Eclair, holding a position of great authority and responsibility as the leader of her people. Her character is defined by the immense pressure of her role, which forces her to constantly negotiate between ensuring the safety of her nation and her own personal desires.

In terms of personality, Dezastol is portrayed as a formidable and respected ruler who possesses a sharp, strategic mind and a commanding presence. She navigates the dangerous world of political intrigue and magical warfare with a notable sense of dignity and composure, rarely losing her cool even when under threat. Her defining trait is her deep sense of self-sacrifice; she is willing to endure personal hardship and give up her own freedom for the greater good of her people and the hope of lasting peace.

Her motivations are heavily rooted in a promise she made to the hero Setsu following a previous war. Setsu had brought an end to endless conflict, and before leaving, he entrusted Dezastol with a brooch and the commitment to maintain peace. She has held onto this promise for many years, but the resurgence of war with the Justinian army puts her in an impossible position. Driven by a desire to stop the bloodshed and feeling the weight of her duty, she is forced to consider extreme measures.

The central conflict of her story arc involves a scheme orchestrated by the mysterious Terran Sneeter. Taking advantage of the vulnerable situation and her desperation for peace, Terran proposes a deal to end the war using his wealth and influence, but the price is her hand in marriage. As part of this agreement, Dezastol is nearly subjected to a magical curse of servitude, a cursed necklace that would rob her of her free will and hand control of the Demon Kingdom to the true mastermind behind the conflict. Demonstrating her sense of duty, she is prepared to go through with this forced marriage to keep her promise of peace, even at the expense of her own freedom.

Her role in the story is to serve as a pivotal figure caught in the political turmoil that has erupted since Setsu’s departure. She is not an antagonist but a respected leader in distress whose predicament motivates a key rescue mission. Her fate is directly tied to the promise Setsu made to her, and her rescue becomes a primary objective for the hero upon his return.

The most significant relationship in her life is with the protagonist, Setsu. She holds his words and his memory in the highest regard, and the brooch he gave her is a powerful symbol of their connection and the promise of peace between them. When the brooch broke, it coincided with his return to his original world, and his later reappearance to save her from her unwanted wedding reaffirms their bond. Her other key relationship is with Terran Sneeter, who masquerades as an ally but is actually a manipulative pawn seeking to usurp her power through a cursed marriage.

Development of her character is seen through her transition from a ruler resigned to sacrificing herself for a forced political marriage to one who is rescued and reassured by the return of an old friend. The moment Setsu returns and places her repaired brooch back around her neck serves as a turning point, restoring her hope and freeing her from a path of subjugation, allowing her to retain her rightful power as the Demon Lord.

As the Demon Lord, Dezastol possesses significant magical power appropriate to her station. While her exact abilities are not exhaustively detailed, she is recognized as a formidable magical authority in the world. Her most notable abilities, however, are non-combative; she demonstrates considerable political acumen and strategic thinking, which she employs to orchestrate the defense of her nation through diplomacy, even when that diplomacy requires her personal sacrifice.
