Description
Tsukiyo Kujō is a 17-year-old student at Maijima Academy, appearing with long orange-blond hair and a distinct uniform featuring a darker inner shirt and frilled skirt. She stands 142 cm tall and weighs 35 kg. Her personality centers on an obsession with perfection and detachment from humanity, viewing herself as superior to the flawed people around her. This worldview manifests through her solitary companion, a doll named Luna, with whom she shares dreams of living on the moon. She demonstrates proficiency in astronomy, particularly telescope handling, though her academic performance remains unspecified.

Her background reveals deep-seated trauma stemming from her parents' tumultuous relationship and divorce. Witnessing their expressions of hatred, jealousy, and love led her to reject human emotions entirely. She adopted the persona of a "doll" to embody an emotionless, perfect existence, distancing herself from others and dedicating her life to lunar observations on the school rooftop.

A pivotal event occurs when Keima Katsuragi inadvertently disturbs her "perfect world" by stepping on her rooftop carpet, provoking her hostility. Shortly afterward, a curse orchestrated by Elsie causes Tsukiyo to shrink. Initially perceiving this as a wish fulfillment to live like Luna, she embraces her miniature state. Keima manipulates the situation to gain her trust—assisting her rooftop visits, carrying her through school corridors, and comforting her during a panic over further shrinking. This proximity gradually erodes her emotional barriers, culminating in her instinctively calling for Keima instead of Luna in a moment of terror.

The turning point arises when Tsukiyo discovers Keima's deception regarding the shrinking curse. Fleeing through air ducts in betrayal, she experiences intense anger and self-loathing, emotions she associates with her parents' ugliness. Confronted by a cat and later trapped on the rooftop, she contemplates suicide, rejecting the "muddy feelings" overwhelming her. Keima intervenes, challenging her doll persona. This confrontation forces Tsukiyo to acknowledge her suppressed humanity, culminating in her tearful acceptance of Keima's help to return to normal life.

Following her "conquest" and the extraction of the spirit within her, Tsukiyo undergoes memory erasure related to her experiences with Keima. Despite this, lingering shifts remain in her behavior. She occasionally exhibits traces of her former isolation, such as briefly reverting to old habits upon hearing rumors about Keima and Kanon Nakagawa, but no longer maintains the same rigid disdain for imperfection. Her foundational development lies in the implicit shift from absolute emotional detachment to a fragile acceptance of human connection.
