Description
Elephas Levi is a supporting character in the story, introduced as a powerful human mage and a member of the Levi tribe. His initial appearance occurs when he approaches the protagonist, Aileen, and the Demon King Claude, offering his allegiance under the condition that they improve the difficult living conditions of his people. This request stems from a deep care for his tribe, as many of its members have been imprisoned by the royal family to control them.

Behind this offer of fealty, however, lies a more complicated motivation. Elephas is secretly an ally and suitor of Lilia Reinoise, the game's original heroine. Smitten with Lilia, who offered him sympathy and a promise to help his people, he agreed to carry out her schemes despite finding them distasteful. On her orders, he injured the crown prince in an attempt to separate him from Aileen and, later, imprisoned the demon raven Almond to force Aileen's cooperation in a plot to have her framed as a traitor. His loyalty to Lilia proves to be misplaced, as she ultimately betrays him. Consequently, members of his own tribe, convinced they could seize power, also turn against him and have him imprisoned.

Filled with shame and despair after this betrayal, Elephas is freed by Aileen, who takes pity on him. In a pivotal moment that demonstrates his remorse and newfound loyalty, he swears fealty to her and goes so far as to give her one of his own eyes, which is a powerful magical artifact and the source of his abilities. This act allows him to join Aileen's alliance and work alongside her and Claude to free the prince from an enchantment and save the Levi tribe. Later in the narrative, Elephas returns to his homeland and, after some complications, he ends up married to a woman named Neifa.
