Description
Chiaki Fujimiya is a recurring character in the story. He is the younger brother of Sumika Fujimiya and is currently a fourth-grade elementary school student. Despite his young age, Chiaki possesses a tall, robust physique and a stern, intimidating facial expression. This appearance often leads strangers to mistake him for a much older teenager or even a delinquent, a stark contrast to his actual age and gentle nature. His appearance includes spiky red hair and pale purple eyes, and he is noted to be slightly taller than his elder sister.
Contrary to his rough exterior, Chiaki has a kind and amiable personality. He is described as friendly, well-mannered, and possessing a gentle heart, which often leads to him being misunderstood by those who judge him solely on his looks. Unlike his sister who had a domineering presence in her own childhood, Chiaki does not enjoy competition or conflict. He is sensitive to the feelings of others and prefers to avoid confrontations, making no use of his imposing stature to dominate or bully anyone.
Chiaki shares a close bond with Takafumi Takaoka, a friend of his sister. He has known Takafumi since he was a very young child, at which time he had a much smaller and cuter appearance. However, following a sudden and dramatic growth spurt, his physical transformation was so complete that even long-time acquaintances like Takafumi initially failed to recognize him upon meeting again. Chiaki himself also had difficulty recognizing Takafumi due to the passage of time and physical changes. Despite this awkward reunion, Chiaki holds great affection for Takafumi, referring to him as "Takafumi-niichan" and treating him like an older brother.
Within his family, Chiaki has at least one older sister, Sumika.
