Description
Owen is a supporting character in the anime I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too. He is a knight of the Arselian Kingdom who serves as the private escort of Princess Lexia Von Arselia. In this role, he accompanies the princess and takes responsibility for her safety, which places him near the royal family and the events that unfold around them throughout the story.

As a royal knight, Owen behaves with the discipline, composure, and sense of duty expected of someone entrusted with the protection of a princess. His motivations are rooted in loyalty to the crown and a sincere commitment to guarding his charge. When a disturbance arises that appears to exceed what he and the kingdom's other guards can manage, Owen sets aside any pride and asks the protagonist, Yuuya Tenjou, to investigate. This request leads Yuuya, Kaori Houjou, and Yuti to a dragon that eventually allows itself to be tamed after developing a liking for Yuuya's cooking. That moment reflects Owen's practical nature and his willingness to rely on capable allies when the safety of the kingdom is at stake.

Owen's most important relationships are with Princess Lexia, whom he escorts and protects, and Yuuya, whose abilities he comes to recognize and call upon. His interactions with Yuuya show him to be a grounded and professional knight who prioritizes results over formalities, especially when threats arise that his own resources cannot handle. He serves as a link between the Arselian royal household and Yuuya, helping to bring the protagonist into matters of importance to the kingdom.

In terms of personal development, Owen is not the focus of the narrative and remains a consistent supporting presence. His role within the story is defined by his position rather than by a transformation or personal arc of his own. He is presented as a capable knight of the Arselian Kingdom, though the series does not highlight a distinctive or exceptional power set for him; his significance comes from his loyalty, his duties, and his connections to the leading characters rather than from remarkable combat abilities of his own.
