Description
Lee Johee is a Korean B-Rank hunter who specializes in healing magic. She is an old friend of Sung Jinwoo, having known him from his days as an E-Rank hunter, and was one of the six survivors of the first Double Dungeon incident. Johee is a kind and soft-spoken person, but she possesses low self-confidence and tends to be shy around people she does not know well. She is deeply caring and often prioritizes the safety of others, frequently accompanying weaker hunters on low-difficulty raids even though her B-Rank healing abilities would allow her to take on more dangerous assignments. Her motivation as a hunter seems to stem from a desire to help rather than personal ambition or power.

Johee’s notable abilities include healing, buffing, and haste magic. She can restore the health of injured allies and enhance their combat performance, as demonstrated when she bestowed a speed boost on Jinwoo during his fight against Kang Taeshik. Her powers are purely supportive, and she has no offensive combat skills. Despite her rank, Johee is mentally fragile; the trauma of surviving the Double Dungeon leaves her deeply scarred. She continues to raid for a time but eventually suffers a second life-threatening encounter, after which she retires from hunting altogether to live as a civilian. Later, during the Jeju Island crisis, she volunteers to help defend Busan, showing a residual sense of duty. After the timeline is reset by the Cup of Reincarnation, she loses all memories of the original events and lives a normal life without any knowledge of monsters or hunters. Throughout the story, Johee’s character highlights the human cost of the hunter profession and serves as an emotional anchor for Jinwoo’s early struggles, representing ordinary people who cannot adapt to the brutal realities of dungeons.
