Description
Alural is a central supporting character in the anime KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World. She is a young woman with long pink hair and a noticeably buxom figure who works alongside her older sister, Siluril, at their tavern called the Alusil in a small village. Alural is the first person to encounter the protagonist, Yukito Urabe, after he is displaced into this strange new world, and she offers him kindness and shelter without hesitation.

Alural possesses a gentle and sincere personality, which makes her well-liked by the villagers and a popular figure in the community. However, beneath this wholesome exterior lies a strong and secret curiosity about sexuality. She has a keen interest in adult books and related topics, which are strictly forbidden in the world of the empire, adding a mischievous and playful layer to her character. This dichotomy makes her more complex than her initial warm and welcoming demeanor might suggest.

Her primary motivation is closely tied to her feelings for Yukito, for whom she secretly harbors deep romantic affection. This attachment drives many of her actions, from her initial care for him to her later devotion to the goddess Mitama, largely because Yukito is the goddess’s follower. Alural is fiercely protective of her sister and the life they have built together, which puts her in direct conflict with the oppressive laws of the ruling empire.

In the story, Alural's role is dramatically altered when she and her sister Siluril are condemned and executed under the empire’s brutal lifetime system. This traumatic event is a major turning point, as Yukito successfully summons the goddess Mitama, who revives Alural from the dead. This resurrection transforms her into one of the most loyal and fervent followers of Mitama, actively participating in the founding and promotion of the new cult. She becomes a key member of the community, taking on roles such as managing the tavern, acting as a hostess to attract followers, and even becoming the lead singer of the cult's sacred choir band, the Salvatore Mitama Choir.

Key relationships define her interactions. Her bond with her older sister Siluril is one of deep familial love and partnership, as they run the tavern together. Her relationship with Yukito is complex; while she is clearly infatuated with him, she also experiences moments of doubt regarding his more reckless and impulsive decisions, creating a slight rivalry with Mitama for his attention. In a remarkable display of her compassionate nature, Alural even defends the knight Enlilta who executed her, arguing that he was merely following orders, and she later requests Mitama to bring him back to life.

Over the course of the series, Alural undergoes significant development. She starts as a simple tavern maiden with a hidden crush and becomes a resurrected warrior of faith. Her experiences with death and rebirth deepen her character, and she transitions from a passive victim of the empire's laws to an active and energetic participant in challenging the established order through the cult of Mitama.

Alural is noted for several specific abilities and quirks. Beyond her skills in running the tavern and her vocal talent for singing, she possesses the unexpected ability to drive automobiles, a skill that, when she uses it, causes her usually gentle personality to shift into a much more aggressive and assertive demeanor. This unique trait, combined with her secret interest in forbidden literature, makes her a distinctive member of the group.
