TV-Series
Description
Catherine, a pink anthropomorphic lizard nurse in the surreal Gregory House, dons a crisp white uniform marked by red crosses on her hat and armband. She wields an oversized syringe to extract blood from guests, especially humans, driven by a near-fetishistic obsession masked as medical duty. Her relentless pursuit leads her to ambush victims in hallways or exploit their vulnerabilities.

A recurring figure across seasons and spin-offs, she stars in *The Bloody Karte* as a hopeless romantic pining for characters like Cactus Gunman and Hell’s Chef. Rejections trigger violent outbursts—she once stabbed Hell’s Chef with her syringe after he spurned her.

At the hospital, she collaborates with Dr. Fritz, a Frankenstein-like figure, and later Cactus Girl, though her interactions brim with manipulation. She imprisons patients or forces unnecessary treatments, blending duty with cruelty. Following Dr. Fritz’s death in *The Bloody Karte*, she seizes control of the hospital, tightening her authoritarian grip.

In *Soul Collector*, players confront her as an early foe. Tripping her with a banana peel triggers a chase; capture leads to a "Horror Show" where she drains their blood, incapacitating them based on mental resilience.

Her personality oscillates between fleeting empathy and calculated violence, often prioritizing the thrill of harm over genuine care. Off-duty, she indulges in TV and donuts, starkly contrasting her menacing persona.

Design echoes Naomi Iwata’s papercraft aesthetic. Regional game releases occasionally misspell her name, and she holds fifth place among 48 characters on Iwata’s site, cementing her franchise significance.
