Description
Dafne Lauros is an adventurer who originally belonged to the Apollo Familia before the god Apollo was defeated and exiled from Orario following a War Game against the Hestia Familia. She was one of many members forced to join Apollo's Familia against her will, a circumstance that left her with lasting resentment despite a conflicted sense of gratitude because Apollo did care for his followers in his own way. After gaining her freedom, she chose to join the Miach Familia alongside her close companion, Cassandra Illion, in part because the god Miach was kind and their new familia’s financial situation was more manageable than that of others like the deeply indebted Hestia Familia.

She is a young human woman of eighteen years with sharp features, including light yellow eyes and short, dark hair that gives her a strong and energetic appearance. Her demeanor is straightforward and no-nonsense; she speaks directly, dislikes wasting time on idle chatter, and is known for her frank and sometimes blunt honesty, even if her words might be painful. Beneath this serious and pragmatic exterior, she is capable of empathy and has shown a responsible and dutiful nature, making her a reliable ally. Her most significant personal bond is with Cassandra, for whom she acts as a protective and often exasperated guardian. While she frequently dismisses Cassandra’s prophetic dreams as nonsense and will even scold her with a light hit to silence her, Dafne ultimately places unwavering trust in her friend as a person, a fact that becomes critical during life-threatening expeditions when she follows Cassandra’s seemingly illogical guidance.

In the story, Dafne serves as a key supporting character during the expedition into the deeper floors of the Dungeon, acting as a seasoned commander and strategist. Her experience as a former executive of the Apollo Familia forced her to develop strong leadership and analytical skills, which she uses to direct other adventurers in battle and predict enemy movements. She maintains a cooperative relationship with members of the Hestia Familia, particularly Liliruca Arde, whom she advises on the principles of party leadership and command. Her journey involves a notable development in her trust in others; despite her logical and skeptical nature, she learns to rely on Cassandra's judgment in a moment of crisis, choosing faith in her friend over her own disbelief in prophecy.

As a Level 3 adventurer, Dafne possesses physical abilities far beyond those of normal people or lower-level explorers. She has a development ability that grants her Abnormal Resistance, making her highly resilient to status ailments like poison. Her magical spell is Raumure, a protective magic that creates a barrier, greatly increasing her endurance and providing a significant boost to her agility proportional to her magical power. She is reluctant to use this spell because its incantation reminds her of Apollo. She possesses two unique skills: Elios Passion, which gives her a minor agility bonus and temporarily grants her the ability to flee at high speed when she is being pursued; and Laurus Wreath, which provides an exceptional endurance bonus when she is injured or in a desperate situation, an effect that can visually alter her skin. Her favored weapon is a durable, lightweight short sword called Fencer Laureate, a blade of Eastern make that was a gift from Apollo and which helps its wielder with magic casting, a tool she continues to use despite her complicated feelings about its origin.
