Description
Caïn Von Silford is the protagonist of the story, a young noble whose life began in another world. In his previous life, he was Kazuya Shiina, a 16-year-old high school student living in Japan. After losing his parents at a young age and being raised by his grandfather, who also passed away, Kazuya lived a relatively solitary but comfortable life. His existence on Earth came to an abrupt end when he was fatally stabbed while attempting to protect two young girls from a man wielding a knife.

This act led to his reincarnation as Caïn von Silford, the third son of a marginal count's family that rules the Gracia territory in the Kingdom of Esport. He retained all the memories of his past life, a gift from the gods who felt his death was an unexpected and senseless tragedy. At the age of five, during a baptism ceremony that determines a person's status and life path in this new world, Caïn received an unprecedented blessing from the seven main gods, including the God of Creation. As a result, he was granted max-level skills and magic in every category, far exceeding any normal person. He was given the title of Reincarnated Apostle Prodigy, a designation that places him above nearly everyone else in the world's social hierarchy.

Caïn's personality is defined by a stark contrast between his mature, adult consciousness from his previous life and his youthful appearance. He is generally a kind and well-meaning individual who acts on his instincts to help others, which often leads to unintended consequences. Despite his immense power, he possesses a notable lack of self-awareness regarding his own strength. He frequently attempts to conceal his abilities to avoid drawing attention, yet his efforts are often clumsy and insufficient. What he perceives as a modest display of power is, in reality, a feat far beyond what anyone else could possibly achieve, leading to astonished reactions from those around him. This pattern, combined with a tendency to act impulsively without considering the full implications of his actions in a noble society, frequently lands him in complicated situations. A running theme of the story is his exceptionally bad luck, as he often finds himself being scolded for things that are not entirely his fault or for outcomes he never intended.

The primary motivations for Caïn's actions are twofold, given to him directly by the gods. His first mission is to use the memories and knowledge from his past life on Earth to help develop the civilization of this new world, which is technologically behind. His second and more crucial mission is to prepare for and ultimately defeat Aaron, the god of entertainment and evil, whose seal is weakening.

Within the story, Caïn serves as the central figure around whom the plot revolves. His role is that of a catalyst for change, both through his intentional efforts to introduce modern inventions and through the accidental upheaval he causes with his power. He begins as the third son of a border count but quickly rises in status. After saving the life of the princess, he gains significant favor with the royal family and is eventually promoted to count and later a margrave, becoming the lord of the Drintol territory.

Caïn's key relationships are numerous and often romantic in nature. He becomes accidentally engaged to multiple women due to his naivete about noble customs and his immense power. His first fiancée is Princess Terestia, the daughter of the king, who falls in love with him after he saves her from a monster attack. His second is Silk, the daughter of a powerful duke, who is saved alongside the princess. His third fiancée is Tifana, an elven female knight and the kingdom's strongest warrior, who vows to marry anyone who can best her in combat, a challenge Caïn unwittingly fulfills. He later becomes engaged to other powerful figures, including the saint Hinata and the demon princess Lisabet. Beyond his fiancées, he has a supportive relationship with his father, Garum, who often finds himself exasperated by Caïn's behavior but is deeply caring. He also forms strong bonds with his tutors, Millie and Nina, for whom he creates magical items as a gesture of gratitude, and with summoned creatures like the Fenrir Haku and the dragon Rongo.

Caïn's development is less about overcoming weakness and more about learning to navigate a world where he has no equal. While his power remains consistently overwhelming, his personal growth involves understanding the political and social ramifications of his actions, accepting the multiple engagements he unwittingly formed, and learning to balance his desire for a peaceful life with his divine missions. The story often explores the comedic and dramatic consequences of a person with ultimate power trying to live a normal life.

Caïn's notable abilities are virtually limitless. Because he received max-level blessings from all seven gods, he can master and use any kind of magic, including fire, water, earth, wind, light, and darkness. His stats, which include skills and magic, are all at the highest possible level of 10, whereas a normal person's peak is around level 5. This grants him a range of powers from simple cleaning magic to the ability to create pocket dimensions, teleport, summon creatures, and even use a powerful attack called Star Judgment that can summon a meteor shower capable of destroying an island. His physical abilities, such as speed and strength, are equally boosted, allowing him to move at the speed of light and fight on par with legendary heroes from the past. Despite this arsenal, his ongoing struggle is his inability to fully control and measure his output, which leads to him constantly overdoing everything he sets out to accomplish.
