Description
Grace Lin is a student at Zashono Academy and a memorable member of the Eiken Club. Her background is defined by immense wealth and privilege; she is the daughter of a major corporate CEO and the heiress to a substantial business empire. Her family's fortune affords her an extravagant lifestyle that includes living in a personal, old European-style castle constructed on the school campus, to which she commutes daily via her own private jet.

In terms of appearance, Grace is a tall and slender young woman, standing 170 centimeters tall. She has blonde hair typically styled into looped pigtails and is most often seen with her green eyes closed. Her signature outfit, which she wears in place of a standard school uniform, is a very short red Chinese cheongsam accented with gold lining and a pink rose design. She completes this look with large yellow wristbands or gold bracelets, black knee-high socks, red shoes, and a yellow band worn on her right thigh.

Grace's personality is a study in contrasts. On one hand, she is presented as friendly, cheerful, and somewhat eccentric, possessing a keen and often-expressed interest in fortune telling. She frequently approaches the protagonist, Densuke Mifune, to read his fortune, typically by holding him closely from behind in an intimate manner. On the other hand, despite her delicate and elegant appearance, Grace possesses extraordinary physical strength. She is a highly trained martial artist of unbelievable power. Her feats include destroying a large test-your-strength carnival machine with a single palm thrust and single-handedly defeating a small army of kidnappers who had abducted her. This strength is such that her bodyguard, Leon, whose official duty is to protect her, is in practice assigned to protect other people from her. Grace's immense power is apparently kept in check by the weighted jewelry she wears. However, she has a notable and paradoxical weakness: she is intensely afraid of ghosts.

Grace's primary motivation and role in the story revolve around her interactions with the Eiken Club and its other members. She has a romantic interest in Densuke, often punctuating her dialogue with heart symbols and seeking out physical proximity to him. However, her affection is presented as somewhat fleeting, as she also has a tendency to forget he is there, shifting her attention elsewhere just as quickly. Her key relationships include the one with her bodyguard Leon, whose role is comically inverted, and with Kuma, a timid classmate who wears a bear costume and is almost always seen following closely behind her. Throughout the series, she does not undergo significant character development, instead serving as a consistent source of surreal comedy and power, with her juxtaposition of girlish interests, immense wealth, and superhuman fighting ability being her defining traits. Her notable abilities, beyond her fortune telling, are exclusively her incredible martial arts prowess and raw physical strength, which are rarely, if ever, matched by other characters in the series.
