Description
Celestia Noodlina, known as Noodle Sorako in the Japanese version, is a character from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens. She first appears as the manager of a ramen shop called Out of This World Ramen, located in the Garden of Curiosity beneath Goha City. Celestia claims to be an extraterrestrial being from the Menmen system of the Ra Nebula. She explains that her real name is unpronounceable to humans, so she chose the Earth name Celestia Noodlina for their convenience. Her attire and overall design are heavily themed around a stereotypical flying saucer, featuring a ring of blonde hair surrounding her head, a light grey dress with star patterns and a bulging skirt, and a metal collar around her neck. A notable physical trait is her ability to retract her head and limbs into her dress, transforming her body into a flying saucer shape that is capable of flight. This form initially surprises those who meet her for the first time.

In terms of personality, Celestia is generally a chirpy and cheerful individual who seems unaware that her behavior might be considered strange by human standards. She has a distinct way of speaking, often punctuating her sentences with electronic beeps or boops, especially when she is startled or excited. Despite her alien nature, she shows a genuine enthusiasm for human passion and potential. She is particularly drawn to the enthusiasm of the ramen-loving duelist Saburamen, casually offering to take him on a tour of the galaxy shortly after they meet. While she remains upbeat most of the time, she can become noticeably mournful when saddened, though she tries to hide these feelings and encourages others not to worry about her well-being.

Celestia's role in the story begins as a seemingly chance encounter. When Yuga Ohdo and his friends get lost in the underground Garden of Curiosity, they stumble upon her ramen shop. After serving them an extraordinary meal, she challenges the group to a Rush Duel. The duel is accepted by Saburamen, who shares her love of noodles. It is during this duel that a key aspect of her backstory is revealed her life points directly power her ship, and if she were to lose all her life points, her vessel would stop functioning. Despite this, she encourages Saburamen to duel with all his passion. After Saburamen wins the duel, a drained Celestia explains that she must return to her mothership to recharge, and she departs from Earth. In a later story arc known as the King of Duels, Celestia reappears as a minor antagonist working for the enigmatic figure Otes. She is one of six girls with similar appearances who assist Otes in his plan to destroy dueling. During a confrontation on the moon, she and her counterparts pilot a giant robot and attempt to stop the main characters from interfering with Otes's scheme.

Key relationships are formed primarily through dueling. Her most significant connection is with Saburamen, forged through their shared passion for ramen and a duel that transcends a simple competition. She promises never to forget him or his passion after her departure, showing a sincere bond. Her relationship with the main protagonist, Yuga Ohdo, is less direct, but she is noted to be shocked by the immense potential she senses within him.

Celestia undergoes a slight development from a seemingly independent alien shopkeeper to a subordinate working for a major antagonist, though her cheerful disposition and loyalty to her employer remain consistent. Her deepest motivations are not fully explored, but she appears driven by a curiosity toward human passion and a need to recharge her energy, which she does through dueling.

Regarding her notable abilities in a duel, Celestia uses a DARK attribute Pyro type deck, a combination that is thematically unusual. Her monsters blend the motifs of aliens and ramen ingredients. Her primary strategy revolves around her Field Spell Card, Outer Space. This card creates a holographic starscape and lowers the attack and defense points of all low level monsters on the field, putting opponents at a severe disadvantage. Her own monsters are designed to thrive under this cosmic condition. Her key monsters include Cosmic String Noodryad and Galaxy Topping Troll.
