Description
Arturo is the infant son of King Uther Pendragon and Queen Igraine of Camelot. When King Lavik attacks Camelot and kills Uther, the magician Merlin rescues Arturo, entrusting him to a retired knight for protection and upbringing. This knight raises Arturo as his own son while concealing his royal lineage.
At fifteen, Arturo accompanies his foster father to a tournament where he unknowingly proves his rightful claim to Camelot's throne by drawing the sacred sword Excalibur from a stone—a feat no other achieves. This compels his foster father to reveal Arturo's true heritage as Camelot's heir.
After ascending as king, Arturo leads resistance against the persistent threat of Lavik. Aided by Merlin, he assembles loyal knights including Lancelot, Tristan, and Percival. Together they confront Lavik and his ally, the witch Medessa. Arturo mentors young allies like Prince Galahad of Mercia, who seeks vengeance against Lavik.
Arturo's campaigns involve strategic battles to defend Camelot's territories, including a quest for the Holy Shield—an artifact essential to defeating Lavik and unifying the kingdom. His efforts focus on reclaiming his birthright and securing peace.
