Description
Ashe is a supporting character in the anime and light novel series. She is one of the five maids serving the House of Lou, specifically serving as a personal maid at the Lou Erz Mansion. Her background is tied to her deep-seated loyalty to the royal family she serves, a dedication that is put to the test during the Night of the Witch Hunt. Following this traumatic event, she and her fellow maids chose to form an alliance with Unit 907, a unit of soldiers from the Empire, in a concerted effort to rescue their captured master, Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX.

In terms of personality, Ashe is defined by her intense loyalty to the House of Lou. As a servant, she is dutiful and protective of her masters. However, her loyalty is not blind, and she holds a distinct disdain for soldiers of the Empire, a sentiment typical of those in the Nebulis Sovereignty. This disdain is shown through an anecdote where she once intended to mix mud into the coffee of Unit 907 soldiers out of spite, an act that was only prevented by the intervention of her princess.

Ashe's primary motivation throughout the story is the safety and well-being of her masters. This drive compels her to set aside her personal prejudices against Imperial soldiers in order to cooperate with Unit 907. Her decision to assist the unit in retaliating against the House of Hydra and rescuing Sisbell demonstrates that her devotion to her duties as a maid overrides her enmity towards her nation's enemies. Her role in the story is that of a supporting ally, providing assistance to the main protagonists from within the Sovereignty's sphere.

Her key relationships are primarily with her fellow maids and her masters. She works alongside Yumilecia, Noel, Nami Orcast, and Sistia Quo-Kratz as a cohesive group dedicated to the Lou family. While her relationship with Unit 907 begins with mutual distrust, it evolves into a working alliance for a common goal. Regarding character development, the primary shift for Ashe is her willingness to cooperate with Imperial soldiers, moving from a position of spiteful hostility to a pragmatic partnership in the face of a greater threat to her liege.

As a notable ability, Ashe possesses an Astral Power known as Wall. This power is a form of spatial interference that allows her to create invisible barriers for protection or obstruction. It is described as a subspecies of the Astral Power known as Gate.
