Description
The character referred to as Pina is the young woman Piina, a newly created figure in the anime film Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars 2021. She is a resident of the small planet Pirika and the elder sister of Papi, the boy who serves as the planet's president. Because their parents have already passed away, Piina acts as the closest family member Papi has and takes it upon herself to protect and support him in their place. In the film's backstory, when General Gilmore stages his coup, it is Piina who forces the reluctant Papi onto an escape shuttle and sends him into space, choosing to remain behind on Pirika even though it places her in danger.

In terms of personality, Piina is composed, caring, and deeply responsible. Her main motivation is safeguarding her younger brother and preserving hope for her planet, and she is willing to endure personal risk to give the resistance movement time to organize. Her facial features resemble those of Nobita's friend Shizuka, and Papi is visibly reminded of his sister whenever he looks at Shizuka, which strengthens his bond with the Earth children and his longing for home.

Within the story, Piina serves as both a political figure and an emotional anchor. After helping Papi escape, she spends time evading the forces of the PCIA, the intelligence organization loyal to Gilmore, so that the Freedom Alliance can build its strength. She is eventually captured and used as a hostage to pressure Papi into cooperating with Gilmore's plans, making her welfare a central point of tension for much of the film. Her capture forces Papi to return to Pirika and confront the dictator, and her eventual release comes only after the regime falls and the people of Pirika rise up.

Her key relationship is with Papi. Piina is the person who raised and steadied him after their parents' death, and he carries the weight of her sacrifice throughout the adventure. She also works alongside Genbu, the leader of the resistance, in the effort to oppose Gilmore. At the end of the film, the siblings are finally reunited, and it is Piina's gentle words that allow Papi to release the tears he had been holding back, providing an emotional close to his personal journey.

The character does not possess special combat or supernatural abilities. Her strengths are her resolve, clear judgment, and sense of duty, which she uses to keep Papi safe and to maintain the resistance's hope while the larger battle plays out. As a creation unique to this remake, she gives Papi a personal stake and a family connection that deepen his motivations throughout the story.
