Description
Masao Sera is a 19-year-old college student who becomes central to a supernatural conflict after miraculously surviving a fatal Himalayan plane crash that killed his parents. Presumed dead, he returns to Japan with no memory of his escape from the crash site.

During the Himalayan incident, unconscious and near death with both arms severed, he witnesses mysterious monks performing a bloody sacrificial ritual. His body is offered to the Demon King Esedess as a vessel in exchange for resurrection. This binding results in Esedess's soul inhabiting Masao's body, granting supernatural abilities but subjecting him to the demon's influence.

Initially timid and socially awkward, Masao struggles with normal interactions, especially around women. His inexperience leads to embarrassing incidents like premature ejaculation during a nursing attempt by classmate Yuuko Someya. Bullies like Abe frequently target him, and he endures physical abuse from authority figures including teacher Mr. Inari and his uncle, who expels him after catching him peeping on cousin Yumi.

Masao's powers erupt involuntarily during extreme anger or distress. Early manifestations include telekinetically hurling Abe through a window to protect Yuuko and psychically forcing Yumi's boyfriend Mamoru to sexually assault her. These episodes trigger blackouts, leaving Masao unaware of his actions. As Esedess's influence grows, physical transformations occur: demonic reflections appear in mirrors, and full possession manifests as blackened skin, wings, and heightened aggression.

His complex relationship with Yuuko Someya serves as an emotional anchor. While Masao seeks to protect her, he gradually loses control, and Esedess uses her as leverage. Masao's feelings for Yuuko partially motivate his resistance against the demon, though his efforts often fail.

A significant shift occurs when friend Akira Midou reveals himself as Aquifel, Esedess's former lieutenant. Akira orchestrates Yuuko's kidnapping to force Masao's full transformation. During the confrontation, Masao surrenders completely to Esedess, resulting in a brutal battle where Esedess mortally wounds Akira/Aquifel. Masao then temporarily regains control, expressing anguish over his actions to the witnessing Yuuko.

His persistent internal conflict pits moments of human vulnerability—such as crying over lost innocence—against Esedess's nocturnal rampages involving sexual violence, mass destruction, and murder during blackouts. The struggle between Masao's humanity and Esedess's control remains unresolved, culminating in desperate attempts to contain the demon as its power threatens to consume him entirely.
