Kinu Fukushima serves as a miko in the Lime Unit, a team of supernatural-powered teenagers based aboard the flying battleship Amanohara. She pilots Masanori, an orange or yellow unmanned mecha equipped with a gun. Despite an outgoing demeanor, she is shy and possessive, frequently using the pronoun "atashi" and exhibiting low self-confidence, particularly around her best friend Asa Katou, often crying when Asa speaks to her forcefully.

Her abilities include a former connection to the spiritual world that allowed communication with spirits, though this bond was severed by Shintaro Umakai to save her life when her Konjiki powers spiraled out of control—a process that involved him reluctantly having sex with her. She commonly employs voodoo dolls, using them both to impede others by impaling them with nails and for casual puppet shows.

Standing 156 centimeters tall with measurements of 96-60-86, she has black hair worn in waist-length twin tails, amber eyes, and typically dresses in a military uniform with a peaked cap, glasses, and a bell accessory. She joined the unit on a restorative island retreat in the OVA *Lime-iro Senkitan: The South Island Dream Romantic Adventure*, where members competed for Shintaro’s attention.
