Description
Gold is a high-ranking member of the White-Clad, the primary antagonistic organization, and is introduced late in the narrative as part of a specialized faction known as the Destroyers or Butchers, who focus on assassination. Her appearance is marked by the organization's standard attire, which exposes her midriff, complemented by a prominent golden gauntlet on her right arm. The most distinctive feature of her design is an alchemical symbol for gold marked on her forehead, with cross-like markings around her eyes.

Regarding personality, Gold presents a chillingly calm and collected demeanor, driven by an unwavering loyalty to the Evangelist's goal of initiating the Second Great Cataclysm. She genuinely believes that the destruction of the current world is a necessary purification, a conviction that fuels her merciless actions. Despite this cold and calculating nature as an assassin, she displays a strange and playful quirk in her speech, often incorporating gold-themed metaphors, puns, and sound effects, which creates a jarring contrast with her deadly profession.

Her primary motivation is to serve the Evangelist's cause, and she acts without hesitation or human attachment, making her a terrifyingly effective operative. She is driven by the belief that plunging the world into despair is a path to a new dawn. In the story, Gold's role is that of a formidable antagonist who appears during the climactic endgame. She makes her debut by assassinating Sōichirō Hague, the Captain of Special Fire Force Company 4, in his own office, a murder that is controversially ruled a suicide. She later becomes a key threat during the rescue arc for Akitaru Ōbi, the captain of Company 8, whom she corners in Fuchū Prison with the intention of turning him into an Infernal.

Key relationships are defined by her role as an adversary to the protagonists of Special Fire Force Company 8. She has no personal connections shown, only professional ones as a fellow disciple of the Evangelist alongside other White-Clad members like Haumea and Charon. Her development is limited by her late introduction and relatively brief time in the story, but her presence serves as a turning point, demonstrating the escalating stakes of the final war. Her demise is a notable moment, as it marks one of the first times the heroes are forced to kill an opponent, showing that the conflict has reached a point where no other option remains.

Gold is a Third Generation pyrokinetic, granting her a high resistance to fire-based attacks, allowing her to completely ignore blasts from someone like Tamaki Kotatsu. Her unique Ignition Ability allows her to channel the thermal energy she generates into her golden gauntlet, converting it into powerful magnetic fields. This ability lets her manipulate any magnetic metal, such as iron, with incredible precision and speed. She can levitate objects, stop bullets in mid-air, and redirect them back at her enemies, making her extremely difficult to defeat in direct combat. Her assassination of Captain Hague was executed by impaling him with metal stakes, a testament to the lethal range of her power. Her weakness is eventually exploited when her opponents melt scrap iron and fuse it to her gauntlet, neutralizing her ability to manipulate metal, which allows Takehisa Hinawa to fatally shoot her. Gold is ultimately killed, but following the second Great Cataclysm, the protagonist Shinra Kusakabe manipulates reality to revert the event, which results in Gold being revived, though her fate after this point remains unknown.
