Description
Kō Yaten is the civilian identity of Sailor Star Healer, a member of the Sailor Starlights from the planet Kinmoku. In the film Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie, Yaten, along with the other Starlights, comes to Earth in search of their princess, Kakyuu, after their home world was attacked by Sailor Galaxia. To avoid drawing attention, the trio disguises themselves as male idols in a pop group called the Three Lights. Yaten serves as the keyboardist for the group and adopts the stage name Kou Yaten while attending Juuban High School alongside the main characters.
In terms of background, Yaten is from a distant star system and has been trained as a Sailor Guardian sworn to protect Princess Kakyuu.
