OVA
Description
Ren Sakurazuka is a first-year student at Nadeshiko Academy. After her father's death when she was three, her mother's frequent international travel as an assistant to Daisuke Asō's father led Ren to live alone before the story begins. Their parents' marriage makes Ren and Daisuke non-blood-related stepsiblings.

Ren's reputation as one of the academy's most beautiful girls attracts frequent love confessions. This constant attention, focused solely on her appearance, cultivated distrust towards others and contributed to her tsundere personality. She often presents a confident, short-tempered exterior, behaving childishly violently towards Daisuke, especially regarding her feelings. Despite this, she genuinely cares for him. Secretly admiring his artistic talent, she worries about his loss of passion for painting and the potential revocation of his scholarship, though she struggles to admit these feelings. Her friend, Ai Saginomiya, often teases her about this emotional inconsistency.

Physically, Ren has long blonde hair, often styled with a braided headband, odango buns, or parted in the middle, reaching her waist or longer. She possesses blue or violet "tareme" (drooping) eyes, a slim, pale build, stands 153 cm tall, and weighs 43 kg, with measurements of 85-54-82 cm. She typically wears the Nadeshiko Academy uniform: a pleated skirt, turtleneck sweater, ribbon tie, and hair ribbon. She works part-time at an ice cream shop and enjoys sweet foods.

Ren appears across multiple official media. She is one of the five main heroines in the original *Canvas: Sepia-iro no Motif* visual novel, where Daisuke can pursue a romantic relationship with her; her route explores their evolving stepsibling relationship. She also features in the Dreamcast port, which added an extra heroine but retained Ren's route. Furthermore, she appears in the adult fan disc *Naked Blue: Canvas Wallpaper Collection*, which includes an additional playable story route focused on her. Ren also appears as a supporting character in the two-episode OVA adaptation *Canvas: Sepia-iro no Motif*.
