Description
Kana Kawamoto, also known as Kana-bun to her friends, is a central character in FLCL: Shoegaze, having previously been the protagonist of FLCL: Alternative. By the events of Shoegaze, which takes place ten years later, she is 27 years old and works for the Bureau of Interstellar Immigration under Chief Tsukata Kanda.
Her background reveals a significant shift in her life trajectory. After high school, she trained as a nurse and had graduated, but she was recruited by Kanda for a top-secret project before she could begin working in the medical field professionally.
