Description
Densuke Mifune is a 15-year-old male student at Zashono Academy, standing 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) tall and weighing 106 pounds (48 kg), with brown hair and brown eyes. He wears the academy’s standard male uniform. Before joining the Eiken Club, he was notably shy with only two friends, Shimada and Todoroki. His life shifts when an accidental encounter with Chiharu Shinonome forces him into the club, composed entirely of female members.

Densuke develops romantic feelings for red-haired classmate Chiharu Shinonome, who is also new to the Eiken Club. Despite his focus on pursuing her, he frequently lands in compromising situations with multiple female characters, either through accidents or others' deliberate actions. These incidents involve physical comedy: being crushed by Kirika Misono or Yuriko Shinonome, electrocuted by Kyoko Morooka’s inventions, or forced into cross-dressing by Kirika. When cross-dressed, his appearance is effeminate enough to be mistaken for a girl by strangers.

Initially shy and lacking notable talents, Densuke inadvertently gains affection from nearly every girl he encounters. This includes club members Komoe Harumachi, Grace Lin, and Miharu Shinonome, as well as older women like Chiharu’s mother Keiko Shinonome and the advisory teacher. Though fixated on Chiharu, he occasionally shows infatuation toward others who reciprocate. His thoughts drift to erotic scenarios involving female characters, particularly Chiharu, triggering visible blushing.

Despite his perceived inadequacies, Densuke positively influences those around him. He inspires Miharu Shinonome to uncover her secret funding of detectives searching for her missing father and aids Hikaru Daizenji in resolving her club’s abolishment threat, leading her to join the Eiken Club. He inadvertently thwarts Cho Ginten’s attempts to disband the club through budget cuts, partly due to her unacknowledged feelings for him.

His given name, Densuke, means "messenger," and his surname, Mifune, combines the characters for "three" and "boat/ship." This naming reflects a common ecchi/harem trope where an unremarkable male protagonist attracts multiple attractive female characters.
