Description
Amira is a recurring character in Edens Zero, serving as an agent of the Galactic Intelligence Agency, a covert organization dedicated to maintaining order across the cosmos. Her primary mission is the capture of the infamous crime lord Drakken Joe. Physically, she is a young woman of average height with brown eyes and blonde hair, which she typically wears in pigtails tipped with green leaf-shaped hairpins. She sports a diamond-shaped necklace and her standard attire consists of an open, long-sleeved black jumpsuit with stocking-like edges, a knee-pack secured around her right thigh, and matching high-heeled shoes. Amira’s personality is defined by her meticulous and pragmatic approach to her work. She is utterly devoted to her mission and is willing to achieve her goals even if it means sacrificing innocent people, be they humans, machines, or non-player characters in virtual worlds. This cold, calculating nature is balanced by a somewhat perverse sense of humor. She is also highly manipulative, as demonstrated when she gains the trust of Shiki Granbell by offering an empty apology and exploiting his well-known desire to make friends. Amira plays the role of an antagonist and wild card during the Digitalis arc, where she initially infiltrates the crew of the Edens Zero by impersonating the swordswoman Homura Kōgetsu using her ability Mirror Face. This power allows her to perfectly copy a person’s appearance, personality, and memories, though not their skills or fighting abilities. A distinct drawback is that she sometimes involuntarily retains small fragments of the personalities she has imitated. On the virtual planet Digitalis, she creates an avatar of a bespectacled young prince with curly dark hair, wearing a light-colored dress shirt, pants, and a draped long-sleeved coat. Traveling with Shiki and his friends under false pretenses, she feigns cooperation while secretly using them to locate Jamilov, an affiliate of Drakken Joe. She betrays the crew by attempting to prove her loyalty to Jamilov, even going so far as to shoot at a young NPC child, an attack intercepted by Shiki. When the real Homura arrives and exposes the deception, a chase ensues in which Amira reveals her identity and her plan to use Jamilov as a means to get to Drakken Joe. She manages to escape by logging out of Digitalis. During the Belial Gore arc, Amira successfully infiltrates Drakken Joe’s massive warship by posing as a club dancer at the Spica club. She rescues the imprisoned B-Cuber Labilia Christy, hides her, and uses Mirror Face to impersonate her. Disguised as Labilia, she is rescued by the Edens Zero crew, and after becoming interested in their plan to defeat Drakken Joe, she reveals herself and proposes an alliance. Following the crime lord’s defeat, Amira calls in the Interstellar Union Army to arrest him, achieving her long-standing mission. She maintains contact with her fellow GIA agent Jesse, who assists her operations and respectfully addresses her as chief. Amira is also a competent markswoman, proficient in firearms including an Ether Gun that can transform into a sniper rifle, as well as a digital crossbow. In an alternate universe, she serves as a member of the Oración Seis Interstellar.
