Omine, also rendered in some materials as Omime and sometimes known by the alternate name Ochika, is a minor supporting character in Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends. She is a member of the Oniwabanshū, the fraternity of former shinobi who operate out of Kyoto, and she belongs to the group's domestic side rather than its fighting core. Her main responsibilities center on the Aoiya, the inn that serves as the Oniwabanshū's base, which she helps to run. In this capacity she works alongside Kashiwazaki Nenji, the elderly veteran known as Okina, assisting him in the day-to-day operations of the household. She also acts as a caretaker for Makimachi Misao, the young kunoichi raised within the Oniwabanshū, and is invested in looking after her wellbeing.
