Reiko Kagurazaka is a 17-year-old high school student with vibrant orange or red hair and striking golden or red eyes, standing 160 cm tall with measurements of 82-56-82 cm. She is a refugee from the destroyed planet Blade Star, arriving on Earth with fellow survivors who possess powerful Super-Lake Crystals enabling them to transform into superheroines. Leading the Battle Team Lakers, Reiko coordinates their defense of Earth against threats such as the evil space dominatrix Oleana and the Gadram Empire.
In her civilian life, Reiko maintains a dual identity as a popular idol, consistently displaying a humble and approachable demeanor without arrogance. She diligently balances her public career with her superheroine responsibilities, often stepping in to assist others. Her leadership guides the team through multiple conflicts, including battles against the dark leader Galvan and the subsequent adversary Rayott, who aims to invade Earth using the Laker Crystals' power.
Reiko shares a romantic connection with Akira Daidoji, the team's coordinator and guardian of the Laker Crystals. She first awakens as Star Laker during a Gadram attack while near Akira. Though their relationship evolves into a partnership, Reiko later ends it due to his indecisive behavior.
