Description
Keiichi Nakagawa is a patrol officer assigned to the Kameari Park Front Police Box in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward. He is the heir to the Nakagawa Corporation, a massive and powerful conglomerate, which grants him immense personal wealth and access to extravagant resources. His birthday is December 24th. He is of mixed Japanese and French heritage.

In terms of appearance, Nakagawa is consistently portrayed as handsome and tall, standing approximately 179 to 185 centimeters tall. He is most easily recognized by his distinctive police uniform, which is a high-end, custom-made yellow pinstripe suit designed by Pierre Cardin, consisting of pants and a coat over a white shirt and a red tie with black diagonal stripes. The design changes with the seasons, switching to short sleeves without an undershirt or tie during summer. He typically commutes in a bright red Ferrari and also has access to private helicopters and other exotic sports cars.

Nakagawa's personality is defined by his even-tempered, cooperative, and sensible nature. He is dedicated to his job, showing commitment and effort that satisfies his superior, and often acts as a voice of reason, regularly attempting to discourage his colleague Kankichi Ryotsu from engaging in his reckless, bizarre, and potentially dangerous schemes. Despite his intelligence and expertise in business and finance, his privileged upbringing has left him naive about the common, everyday aspects of the world. While handsome and popular with female officers, he often appears indifferent to their attention. On rare occasions, a string of failures or heavy alcohol consumption can bring out an uncharacteristically eager or frantic side to his personality.

His core motivation is to perform his duties as a police officer effectively, but a significant emotional driver is his desire for family connection. Due to their demanding careers—his father as the CEO of the conglomerate, his mother as an international singer and pianist, and his younger sister as a fashion model—he is largely estranged from his family and lives alone in his family's palatial mansion staffed with servants. This separation is a source of periodic sadness, occasionally leading to near-breakdowns after failed attempts to reunite with his father.

In the story, Nakagawa serves as a primary comedic foil to the impulsive and scheming Ryotsu. While he frequently provides advice and material support through the Nakagawa Corporation, his efforts to curb Ryotsu's behavior are almost always unsuccessful. His key relationships include a steady friendship with Ryotsu, a harmonious and professional rapport with his supervisor, Daijiro Ohara, and a unique dynamic with colleague Reiko Akimoto. Reiko acts as a female counterpart to him, as she shares similar traits, including extreme wealth and a mixed Japanese-French background, leading to a mutual understanding and similar approaches to problem-solving.

While his core traits remain consistent, his character does exhibit occasional emotional depth and vulnerability, particularly concerning his lonely home life. He possesses several notable abilities beyond his professional police work. He is an expert driver with skills like drifting, a proficient marksman, and has access to special operational licenses from police headquarters. His background has also provided him with multilingual capabilities. He can leverage the vast resources of his family's corporation to order almost anything, such as ice from Fiji, for immediate delivery by helicopter.
