Description
Yurina Kirishima presents a calm and timid demeanor, naturally avoiding fuss or assertiveness. She masters instruments like the violin professionally and possesses ballet skills. Her appearance features ash brown hair styled in two large ringlets over her shoulders and black eyes, though some visual depictions show lilac hair and pink eyes. She wears a modified Seijyun High uniform: a cyan short-sleeve jacket with white and black linings, a white long-sleeve sailor collar with a red ribbon, a white frilled skirt with black linings and a red bow, white stockings, and red cross-strap flats. She consistently carries her violin and bow, which also serve as her combat weapons.

Yurina is the older sister of Kurow Kirishima, Project Justice's primary antagonist. Her parents' whereabouts are undisclosed, and she resides alone in the Seijyun High dormitories. Academically, she excels in English and music but performs poorly in art. Initially, she collaborates with Kurow in his scheme to sow discord among schools, tasked with distracting Akira Kazama and others alongside Momo. However, the genuine friendship formed with Akira and Zaki causes her to switch allegiances. She aids Akira's group in rescuing Daigo Kazama from brainwashing. Overcome by guilt afterward, she temporarily leaves Seijyun High but is welcomed back by Akira and Zaki.

In combat, Yurina employs fencing techniques with her violin bow, capable of deflecting projectiles. Her musically themed special attacks include "Alluring Waltz" (a charging strike with varying effects), "Desperate Love Serenade" (creating defensive musical rings while retreating), "Abyss Minuet" (a multi-hit thrust), and "Sunset Lullaby" (a spinning vortex attack). Her Burning Vigor techniques are "Underworldly Nocturne" (a rapid dash leaving musical trails) and "Amorous Requiem" (a combo enabling aerial follow-ups). A vulnerability exists in "Death's Invitational Rondo," leaving her exposed if it misses or is blocked. Her team-based "Encouraging Concerto" ability maximizes allies' Guts meters.

Trivia notes her nickname "Melodic Young Woman" and similarities to Michiru Kaiou/Sailor Neptune due to violin proficiency. She is the second character in her series to defect from an antagonistic sibling, following Kyosuke Kagami. Her formal coat resembles a conductor's attire.
