His personality is that of an excitable and easily flattered flatterer, often using the catchphrase "Yoi sho!" when complimented. He speaks in a rough, Edo‑period dialect and tends to be boastful and impulsive, yet he possesses a genuine sense of compassion and will sympathize with those in true misfortune. Among the twelve apostles, he is one of the least powerful in terms of raw magic, but he compensates with quick wits, cunning, and the ability to fly, making him useful for reconnaissance, sabotage, and early‑game support. His role in the story is that of a comic relief character and a reliable, if sometimes unreliable, ally who often appears to help in tight spots even when his mood is sour.
