Description
Aman Jafari is a character from the 1973 live-action film adaptation of Golgo 13, portrayed by actor Mohsen Sohrabi. He serves as a Beirut police inspector, a role that places him in direct opposition to both the film's antagonist and its protagonist.

Jafari is a man driven by personal tragedy, as his wife, Sheila, is among the hundreds of women who have been kidnapped by the human trafficker Max Boa. This connection to the victim gives him a deeply personal stake in the case, motivating his relentless pursuit of the crime lord. His approach to justice is conventional and methodical, representing the official, lawful path of a police officer trying to dismantle a criminal empire from within the system.

In the narrative, Jafari's mission to capture Max Boa runs parallel to, and eventually collides with, that of the professional assassin Golgo 13, who has been hired to kill the same target. While both men seek the same criminal, their methods and ultimate goals are incompatible. Jafari, as a man of the law, views Golgo 13 not as an ally but as an outlaw and a murderer who must be arrested. This dynamic positions Jafari as a primary obstacle for the protagonist, as his conventional police work threatens to interfere with the assassination contract. No information is available regarding any significant development or change in his character over the course of the story, and his notable abilities are not detailed beyond his function as a determined police inspector.
