Description
Gill Wembley is a minor human character appearing in the film Transformers: Age of Extinction. He works as a high-ranking technician at Kinetic Solutions Incorporated, also known as KSI, a company dedicated to creating artificial Transformers from a malleable metal called Transformium.

Within the story, Wembley serves as a member of the technical team working under the company's ambitious leader, Joshua Joyce. His background is not extensively detailed, but his position suggests a level of competence in mechanical and software engineering, as he is involved in the direct handling and control of the company's prototype Transformers. His personality is established through small but consistent character traits, most notably his habit of eating doughnuts while on the job. This behavior, combined with his casual dialogue, portrays him as a somewhat relaxed and less formal presence in the high-pressure environment of KSI compared to his demanding boss.

Wembley's primary role in the narrative is to assist in the operation of Galvatron, KSI's most advanced and dangerous creation. He is present on the console during the Autobot attack on the KSI headquarters, helping to control Galvatron and expressing awe at the prototype's destructive power. Following the incident, he is tasked with inspecting Galvatron to understand its anomalous behavior. Here, his technical expertise fails him, as he is unable to explain to a furious Joshua Joyce why the robot has developed the ability to speak, leading to him being yelled at for the team's inability to solve the problem.

His key relationship is with his superior, Joshua Joyce. He interacts directly with Joyce, taking orders and providing technical feedback. His only other notable interaction is with Darcy Tirrel, where he and Joyce explain the concept of Transformium to her during a company tour. Later, his dynamic with his coworkers is shown in a more informal light, as they are seen amusing themselves with the Transformium in the lab.

In terms of development, Gill Wembley remains a largely static character without a personal arc. He is a supporting figure who highlights the internal workings of KSI. One of his more notable moments occurs remotely, when he receives a text message from Joshua Joyce asking for the estimated blast radius of the "Seed," a powerful device capable of converting matter into Transformium. Wembley's response, delivered via text, is a curt and unprofessional "Like a tactical nuke LOL," which demonstrates his casual demeanor even when dealing with potentially catastrophic weaponry. His notable abilities are strictly professional, lying in his technical know-how to operate and maintain KSI's advanced, alien-derived technology.
