Description
Namida Akagi (occasionally spelled Akashi) is an orphan whose birth parents perished in an early Gishinite assault on Earth. This tragedy left him without relatives, resulting in his informal adoption by Shizuka Myoujin—adoptive mother of the series’ protagonist Takeru Myoujin. The Cosmo Crusher team, Earth’s defense force, further became his de facto family, offering stability after his loss.

Frequently acting as a tagalong kid, he shadows Takeru or Cosmo Crusher members on missions, often sneaking into restricted situations. This reflects his persistent curiosity and drive to participate despite his youth, occasionally influencing events while maintaining a secondary role.

His name translates to "tears" in Japanese, a detail he openly acknowledges. He explicitly rejects assumptions that this defines his personality, declaring himself no crybaby—asserting resilience against his name’s connotations.

During the series’ third narrative arc, previously unseen facets of his personality emerge alongside latent psychic abilities. These powers, akin to Takeru’s, mark a significant evolution from his initial role as a dependent child, though their precise scope remains undetailed.
