TV-Series
Description
Momoko Suō is an eleven-year-old former child actress who transitions into an idol career at 765 Production. Having worked in the entertainment industry since early childhood, she possesses the longest professional experience among all the idols in the agency, including the original thirteen members. She was scouted by the company president after a period of hiatus and initially resisted the idea of becoming an idol, but the producer convinced her to treat idol work as an extension of her acting skills. Her background is marked by a strained family life; her parents separated and she currently lives with her grandmother, with both parents wanting custody but not willing to live together as a family. This difficult home situation drives her to seek stability and a sense of belonging through her work.

Her personality is outwardly haughty and businesslike. She insists that her relationship with the producer is purely professional, yet she addresses him as onii-chan in a sweet voice, revealing a softer side. She takes great pride in her skills and often acts superior because of her long career, but she is also hardworking and sets high standards for herself and others. Despite her arrogance, she is kind-hearted and shows genuine concern for her fellow idols, often giving thoughtful advice to those who are struggling. She can be surprisingly timid when her routine is disrupted, such as when she loses her favorite step stool, which she uses to stand on equal height with adults because she is self-conscious about being the shortest idol at 140 centimeters.

Momoko’s core motivation is to prove herself as a capable professional, both as an actress and as an idol. She wants to be respected for her talent rather than treated as a child. Her decision to join 765 Production also stems from a desire to escape the loneliness of her broken home and to find a place where she can belong. As she grows into her idol career, she begins to value teamwork and friendship over her earlier individualism.

Within the story, Momoko serves as a bridge between the child and adult worlds. Her long experience makes her a natural mentor to younger idols, yet she also learns to accept help from others. She is a member of the unit Ricotta, which includes Haruka Amami, Noriko Fukuda, Nao Yokoyama, and Arisa Matsuda. In this unit, she often plays the role of the strict senior but is gradually encouraged to open up.

Her key relationships include her close friendship with Sora Ikue, whom she considers both a best friend and a rival. They exchange stickers, a hobby Momoko enjoys, and their bond deepens through shared performances. She also interacts frequently with Tamaki Oguni and Hinata Kinoshita, often acting as the responsible one among the younger idols. The producer is a central figure in her life; she relies on him for guidance and gradually learns to trust him as a source of emotional support.

Through her experiences, Momoko develops from a guarded and self-reliant child star into a more cooperative and emotionally open idol. She learns that it is okay to rely on others and that her worth is not solely defined by her professional achievements. Her growth is especially evident in stories where she confronts her family issues or when she shines in group performances, showing she has found a new home among her colleagues.

Notable abilities include her exceptional memory for lines and scripts, honed through years of acting. She can quickly learn choreography and adapt to different character roles on stage. This makes her a versatile performer who can handle both dramatic acting and idol routines. She also has surprising physical stamina and a strong sense of stage presence, assets that help her stand out despite her young age.
