Description
Natsu Dragneel is a mage belonging to the Fairy Tail guild and serves as the primary protagonist of the story. He is a Fire Dragon Slayer, a practitioner of a rare form of Lost Magic taught to him by his adoptive father, the dragon Igneel. This magic allows him to consume, generate, and manipulate fire, using it both as a weapon and as a source of sustenance and recovery. Natsu was raised by Igneel after being found in a forest, but Igneel mysteriously disappeared on July 7, X777, leaving Natsu with a deep personal drive to find him again. Later revelations show that Natsu originally died four hundred years before the main timeline and was revived as a powerful demon called Etherious Natsu Dragneel, making him the younger brother of the dark wizard Zeref. He is also one of five Dragon Slayers sent forward in time to aid in the defeat of the dragon Acnologia.
