TV-Series
Description
Fenbren is a major antagonist and a member of the Hadlar Royal Guard, a group of elite warriors serving the Dark Lord Hadlar. He is a unique artificial lifeform, created through forbidden magic that animated a chess piece made of the legendary metal orichalcum. As his title indicates, he holds the position of bishop within this royal guard.

In terms of background, Fenbren is a metallic lifeform, and his physical form is almost entirely composed of sharp blades, which cover over eighty percent of his body. This makes his entire body a lethal weapon, capable of slicing through ordinary weaponry with ease. As a newly created being, his age is approximately one year old.

Fenbren possesses a personality that is notably cruel and sadistic, particularly in contrast to his fellow guards, many of whom adhere to a code of chivalry. He derives pleasure from tormenting weaker opponents, drawing out their suffering rather than delivering a quick death. This brutal nature is believed to be a manifestation of the vanity and arrogance that Hadlar himself had supposedly shed when he evolved into a superior being. Despite this, Fenbren is not without a sense of camaraderie; he is loyal to Hadler and maintains good relationships with the other royal guards, even feeling a sense of guilt when he acts on his own selfish desires. His motivations are driven by a deep-seated cruelty and a powerful desire for revenge. When he is grievously wounded by the Dragon Knight Baran, he refuses to have his injuries treated so that his hatred and desire for vengeance would not fade.

Fenbren plays a significant role in the story, primarily acting as a relentless hunter. He is first seen terrorizing the Beast King Commando Unit, led by Chiu, taking pleasure in hunting them down before being driven off by Baran. Consumed by his need for revenge, he directly disobeys Hadlar's orders to seek out and confront Baran and his son Dai at the entrance to the Vearn Palace. His key relationships are with his master, Hadlar, and his comrades in the Royal Guard. While he maintains a facade of chivalry to fit in, his fellow guards mourn his death, indicating a bond of trust and friendship between them despite his hidden cruelty.

In terms of development, Fenbren remains a static character whose core traits of cruelty and vengeance drive his actions from his introduction to his demise. He shows little change, ultimately succumbing to his obsessive desire for revenge. His notable abilities are formidable, stemming from his metallic, blade-ridden body. He can use his hands as drills to burrow through the ground for surprise attacks and is proficient in Bagi-type wind spells. His signature technique is the Twin Sword Peening, a powerful drilling charge designed to impale his opponent. Despite his power, he is ultimately sliced in half and killed by Dai's Avan Strash technique during his final confrontation.
