Description
Albinass la reine is a central antagonist in the story, serving as the Queen and leader of Hadlar's Orichalcum Royal Guard. She is a unique being created through forbidden magic, animated from orichalcum chess pieces to serve as one of Hadlar's most powerful and trusted soldiers. As the Queen piece, she holds the highest rank within the guard and is second only to Hadlar himself in authority. Her physical form is humanoid with nearly indestructible orichalcum skin, and she initially appears clad in a distinctive steel robe made of interconnected plates that conceal her limbs. This regal and imposing appearance reflects her status as a monarch among the guard. When she unleashes her full combat power, she discards this outer layer to reveal a streamlined, more agile body with wing-like spikes on her shoulders, which significantly enhances her speed and mobility.

In terms of personality, Albinass is characterized by her stern, logical, and highly strategic mindset. She is the most serious and committed member of the royal guard, often keeping the others in line and focusing entirely on their objectives. A natural strategist, she tends to assess situations logically, ordering retreats or attacks based on sharp tactical evaluations, and always attempts to see the bigger picture. Her defining trait is a profound and unwavering loyalty to Hadlar, a devotion that borders on romantic love, although she consistently denies having such emotions. Despite her cold and composed exterior, she is far more emotional than she appears, and her actions frequently betray a deep-seated care for her lord and her fellow guards. This loyalty is so intense that she is willing to act in ways she believes serve Hadlar's best interests, even if those actions contradict his direct wishes, such as when she ambushes Hyunckel and Baran during their duel despite knowing that Hadlar disapproves of interrupting proper fights. She also demonstrates a pragmatic and ruthless side, believing that eliminating threats by any means necessary is justified for Hadlar's sake.

Albinass's primary motivation throughout the story is the preservation of Hadlar's life and the advancement of his cause. She is more than willing to kill the disciples of Avan and presents their deaths as an offering to the Dark King Vearn, hoping to use it as a bargaining chip to save Hadlar from his impending death. This singular focus drives her actions, including her final battle, where she intends to assassinate Dai and the other heroes in the midst of their duel to secure Hadlar's future.

Within the narrative, Albinass first appears during the royal guard's assault on the Kingdom of Sababa, where she effortlessly defeats the warrior Nova. She later participates in a key confrontation on the desolate Field of Death, where she attempts to ambush Hyunckel and Baran during their fight. Her most significant role occurs during the heroes' assault on the flying Vearn Palace. Tasked by Hadlar with delaying the heroine Maam while he duels Dai, Albinass instead reveals her true objective to kill Maam and then assassinate the other heroes mid-duel. This sets the stage for her final battle. Her key relationships are primarily with Hadlar, to whom she is utterly devoted, and with Maam, who becomes her final opponent. In her dying moments, after being defeated by Maam, she warns her opponent of her imminent explosion and shows no regret. Instead, she pleads with Maam to witness Hadlar's final battle, implicitly acknowledging the depth of her loyalty and feelings before she perishes.

Throughout her limited time in the story, Albinass undergoes a subtle but notable development. While she begins as an unyielding and seemingly emotionless strategist, her final battle reveals the intense, human emotions driving her. Her encounter with Maam, who shows empathy for her, highlights the tragic nature of her loyalty and love, which ultimately leads to her death. She accepts her end calmly, acknowledging that her carelessness in underestimating Maam led to her defeat, and in doing so, she displays a moment of personal reflection.

As a combatant, Albinass is exceptionally powerful, reflecting her status as the Queen. Her orichalcum body grants her near-total immunity to most conventional forms of damage, requiring extraordinarily powerful weapons or spells to harm her; only a direct strike to her core is fatal. She is a swift and adept spellcaster, specializing in the high-level fire spell Kasizz. Her signature technique, Needle Thousand, fragments the power of Kasizz into a barrage of needle-like projectiles fired rapidly over a wide area. In her true, unarmored form, her fighting style shifts dramatically. She discards her steel robe to gain exceptional physical strength, blinding speed, and expert hand-to-hand combat abilities. In this state, she channels Kasizz into concentrated spheres known as Thousand Ball, which deliver focused, explosive impacts. This combination of magical power, physical prowess, and strategic cunning makes her one of the most formidable antagonists the heroes face.
